Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are offered for Master’s study for students from developing countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK, jointly supported by UK universities. About Commonwealth Shared Scholarships
You must use the Electronic Application System (EAS) to apply for a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. The EAS allows you to submit your application electronically and to download and save your application in PDF format (which can then be printed in hard copy).
Before applying, you must check with your UK university for their specific advice, admission requirements, and rules for applying. Click here for a list of contact details
You cannot submit an EAS application after the deadline that you will see when you open an application.
You can apply for more than one course and/or to more than one university, but you may only accept one offer of a Shared Scholarship.
Before you start your application, you should read the following step-by-step guide:
- How to apply for a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship (1.0 MB)
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Shared Scholarship Applicants (444 KB)
The application form has links to the Notes for Candidates to help you as well.
All applications must be submitted by 23.59 (BST) on 29 March 2017.
