Commonwealth Week 2015

Date
09/03/2015 - 15/03/2015

Time
All Day

Each year the Commonwealth Day Observance is based around an annual Commonwealth theme. In 2015, the theme is ‘A Young Commonwealth’, underlining the fact that people aged twenty-nine or under account for the majority of the Commonwealth’s population, and recognising their capacity, contribution and potential.

Activities take place throughout Commonwealth Week. The flagship event is the Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey, taking place annually on the second Monday of March. The Royal Commonwealth Society coordinates the Observance on behalf of a group of Commonwealth organisations, known as the Council of Commonwealth Societies.
