CSC Alumni Nigeria Panel Discussion on Disability Rights

The British Council, on behalf of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK, are hosting a panel discussion on disability rights in Nigeria to mark International Human Rights Day (10 December 2019).

Panelists will discuss the impact of the Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act and review its implementation so far. The panel will comprise representatives from the National Orientation Agency, National Human Rights Commissioner, Disability Rights Advocacy Centre (DRAC), and Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC).

The event will be attended by the Chair of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, Richard Middleton.
