The CSC Workshop Series focuses on professional and practical skills and is designed to be interactive, with small groups of Scholars and Fellows taking part in each event. This second workshop in the series will be run by Alex Mitchell, Founder of Causarma & Kit Us Out, Co-Founder of Young Brits Network, and Chair of IoD 99.

This workshop aims to improve Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows’ potential to contribute to the needs of their home country through:

  • Thinking creatively about entrepreneurship
  • Looking at how to create an enterprise network
  • Examining the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in developing countries, and potential solutions

As a result of attending this workshop, they will better understand:

  • The role of entrepreneurship in development
  • How to create jobs
  • How to play a part in the economy and social mobility of your home country
