Launch of the Royal Commonwealth Society of Singapore and Commonwealth Fellowships in Innovation

18:30 - 20:30

Commonwealth alumni living in Singapore are invited to attend the launch of the Royal Commonwealth Society of Singapore and the new Commonwealth Fellowships in Innovation on Monday 14 March from 18:30 -20:30.

During the state visit of President Tony Tan to the UK in October 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II announced that the Royal Commonwealth Society of Singapore would be re-established to promote the Commonwealth and to provide new Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships for Singaporeans. With initial assistance from the UK Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the first new Commonwealth Fellowships, to be launched with the new society on 14 March, will be for Singaporeans to study innovation subjects in the UK. The fellowships will be available to Singaporeans professionals for a study placement of up to three months in academia or industry in the UK. Separate Commonwealth Scholarships in Innovation, for formal taught courses in the UK, will be launched at a later date.

All Commonwealth alumni are invited to the launch. If you would like to attend, email with details of your scholarship.
