The role of counselling and life skills education in promoting a peaceful, resilient and connected global family

This event raised the importance of life skills education and counselling in promoting a connected and peaceful Commonwealth and included presentations on thematic counselling and life skills. British High Commissioner Katherine Ransome delivered a keynote speech and was joined by Paramount Chief of the Balete Kgosi Mosadi Seboko.

Presentations were delivered by experts from across institutions and organisations and covered topics including ‘Connecting services for the vulnerable children in the Commonwealth’, ‘Substance abuse and drug addiction: connecting the disconnected in the community’, and ‘The role of indigenous connectedness in the Commonwealth community’.
